NGSW - New Generation Squad Weapons refers to the latest generation of weapons used by the unit. In this case, the Rangers include the SIG SPEAR assault rifle, XM7, and XM250 machine guns, which replace the M4 and M249 and offer longer range, greater accuracy, and higher lethality.
The US Army Rangers are a specialized unit of the US Army deployed for a variety of military tasks. They conduct airborne and air assault operations, capture strategically important areas, destroy enemy installations, and can also capture or kill enemy personnel. In addition to these military tasks, they are also deployed for counter-terrorism operations, hostage rescue, and VIP protection.
They are also well-suited to Western-equipped special forces units, such as those in South America or even Southeast Asia and Africa, or alternatively, as PMCs and mercenaries for any modern Scenario on your Tabletop.
