The unit has gained this moniker through hard-fought operations, showing its efficiency and ferocity in hunting down and destroying any opposition. It is a unique force, formed from veteran members of the 68th Special Forces Brigade (68ма Бригада Специални Сили), an elite unit specializing in international counter-terrorism.Working for a shadowy conglomerate of selected Oligarchs from Eastern Europe, their motives are publicly purely financial, although conversations within The Circuit raise some questions about the accuracy of this. According to "Nikolai" (a former direct action member of DIV-KU, now only responsible for operations after losing a leg in combat) it is also longing for the adrenaline and the firefights itself that motivates many of those employed. There is also a sense of family within the organisation, a bond of brotherhood many veterans find missing.

The pack consists of two Assaulters from the DIV-KU PMC, armed with high-end AK-74Ms decked-out with laser/light modules and suppressors. One rolls a T1 Micro red dot sight while the other has a thermal imaging reflex sight mounted.
Mounted to their helmets are "Contour" action cameras, which live-stream the operation back to the operations room, allowing command staff to direct the teams in almost real-time.
Their clothing is rather practical and comfortable, with tracksuit jackets worn with Gen. 3 military pants. These Assaulters don't wear overt body armor, allowing for improved tactical agility. However, depending on the situation, they may decide to wear a discreet Level IIIA ballistic vest under their jacket if necessary.
Instead of a traditional Modular Vest, they wear an LBV made in Russia by SSO/SPOSN of the "Smersh" type. This balances the weight of the equipment better on the body and allows for the user to comfortably go prone if necessary during operations.All mercenaries are equipped with DMR Radios, which offer AES256 encryption for secure communication within the team and with the HQ. They also carry an assortment of different grenades, which vary depending on the assignment and mission.

The Breacher Team from the DIV-KU PMC are armed with the high-end PPK-20 (chambered in 9x19mm), decked-out with laser/light modules, suppressors, and with T1 Micro red dot sights. One of them carries a breaching shotgun with a red dot sight slung onto his rucksack. The other carries a pump-action GM-94 grenade launcher with a four-round magazine, loaded with 40mm VOG grenade designed for blasting doors open from a distance or clearing rooms through windows.Mounted to their helmets are "Contour" action cameras, which live-stream the operation back to the operations room, allowing command staff to direct the teams in almost real-time.

The ground operations commander of this unit from the DIV-KU PMC is armed with a rare, integrally suppressed AS-VAL rifle in the special subsonic 9x39mm calibre. Equipped with an AN-PEQ 15 laser/light module, foregrip, and an EoTech XPS with a G33 magnifier, this custom rifle setup is ideal for covert operations. Providing a base of fire for the unit is an LMG gunner armed with an RPK-74 machine gun in the 5.45x39mm calibre. This Russian-made lightly armored military vehicle, or MRAP, is a modification of the civilian Ural 432007 truck, manufactured by a private corporation closely linked to Wagner PMC.
These vehicles are not used or purchased by the Russian state, nor by the internal security ministries.
They are used purely for the corporation's own "projects," including and primarily by Wagner PMC.
Areas of application include patrol and convoy security in the armed variants with a modernized BTR turret with thermal vision and a 14.5mm KPVT heavy machine gun and 7.62mm PKT Coaxial machine gun.
The "Shchuka" and "Chekan" are also useful as "battle taxis," with space for approximately 8-12 additional passengers in addition to the crew, which is of course the main purpose of the unarmed variants.
